Responsibilities

• Independent Cook
• Employment: Full-time / 38 hours per week
• Salary range: €2,500 - €3,250 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance
• Employment according to the Horeca Collective Labor Agreement
• Performing preparatory tasks such as washing, cutting, pre-cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.
• Assessing the quality of products/ingredients (freshness, shelf life, etc.) and preparing necessary tools
• Carrying out cooking tasks while monitoring quality, doneness, taste, color, consistency, and adjustment when needed
• Preparing orders for service through à-la-minute cooking, portioning, and garnishing
• Supervising the work of assistants, providing guidance and instructions
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, working conditions, HACCP, and work and presentation standards

 We are looking for someone who

• Has demonstrable knowledge of basic kitchen techniques
• Can work independently and in a structured manner, even during peak hours
• Has a strong sense of quality, hygiene, and attention to detail
• Can communicate effectively in Dutch or English
• Is positive, engaged, and eager to learn
