For a global client in the fashion industry based in Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced Product Developer Menswear with expertise in Circular Knits, Flatknits, Woven Shirts, and Neckwear. By sourcing and developing innovative products that meet market demands, sustainability goals, and brand values, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of modern fashion. Please note, the deadline to apply is Wednesday, October 22nd at 12 noon.

The Team

You will be part of a passionate, creative, and forward-thinking product development team that collaborates closely with design, sourcing, and production departments. The team is dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and maintaining the highest quality standards while bringing each collection to life.

The Position

As a Product Developer Menswear, you will oversee the full product development process from concept to production. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that each item meets aesthetic, quality, and performance expectations while aligning with brand DNA and sustainability objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will manage sourcing, research, and development activities to identify and implement innovative product solutions.
• You will provide design advisory support to ensure that concepts are both creative and commercially viable.
• You will handle all aspects of product management, including supplier communication and timeline coordination.
• You will foster cross-functional communication and offer advisory input across departments to ensure smooth collaboration.
• You will maintain accurate information and ensure data integrity throughout all stages of the development process.

The Ideal Candidate

• Ideally 3+ years of experience in the field of sourcing, development and production. 
• Product knowledge of apparel in concerning product groups. 
• Knowledge in fabrics/trims quality and color approval.
• Effective communication skills: team player, interdepartmental collaboration, stakeholder management.
• Proactive problem solver with attention to detail.
• Is able to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach.
• High data integrity.
• Good command of written & spoken English.
