What are you going to do? 

As a doorman, you're the first point of contact for our guests and the face of our hotel. You welcome everyone with a warm smile and offer assistance wherever needed, whether it's carrying luggage, parking the car, or escorting guests to reception or another area of the hotel. The ability to put a smile on our guests' faces is an indispensable skill. Furthermore, many guests will have questions about Amsterdam and the hotel itself. Your extensive knowledge of the city and the hotel's amenities ensures you can always provide our guests with useful and accurate information, making their stay even more enjoyable. You also have an eye for safety and detail. 

Where are you going to do this? 

The former Shipping House of Amsterdam now houses one of Amsterdam's most iconic five-star hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel boasts 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, eight meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Located just 500 meters from Central Station, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is easily accessible from the highway.

Your luggage 

• You have a keen eye for detail and a warm, welcoming attitude.  
• You have a valid driver's license.  
• You have knowledge about the city of Amsterdam.

• An exciting 38-hour position in the heart of Amsterdam 
• A salary in accordance with the Horeca-collective labor agreement , based on a full-time employment contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience. 
• We offer a contract for 1 year or 7 months with the option to extend. We'd love for you to stay with us!

• Fancy seeing something other than Amsterdam? We offer an attractive Family & Friends discount, allowing you to enjoy an overnight stay at one of the other Amrâth hotels starting from €65.  
• Doorgroeimogelijkheden. Wij leren je graag de kneepjes van het vak, zodat jij kan (door)groeien binnen de Amrâth hotelgroep.  
• Wij hechten waarde aan jouw gezondheid en bieden daarom een collectieve zorgverzekering, bedrijfsfitness en een fietsplan aan.  
• Reiskostenvergoeding vanaf 10 km wanneer fietsen niet echt jouw ding is.
