In this role as a metal processing worker, you are responsible for preparing metal components for the next steps in production. You work with various techniques to ensure that every part meets the required quality standards and is ready for further treatment or assembly.
You will prepare metal elements for further processing, including sandblasting and grinding surfaces to achieve the correct structure and finish. You prime components so they are properly protected and ready for coating, and you carefully mask surfaces that must not be treated. You apply protective coatings according to the given specifications and work instructions, and you check the quality of your own work throughout the process. In addition, you ensure a safe, clean and well-organised workstation, so that you and your colleagues can work efficiently and safely every day.

You do not need previous experience; you are eager to learn everything on the job
You are motivated to learn and perform technical, hands-on work
You work accurately and pay close attention to details
You are fit and willing to carry out active, physical work
You can communicate in basic English
Experience with sandblasting is an advantage
You live in or near Wanssum and have your own transport to work
