## Lead Software EngineerAs a Lead Software Engineer, you will guide the design, development, and delivery of software that supports key business goals. You will shape technical decisions, improve engineering quality, and work closely with product and stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable solutions.
This part-time role is based in Amsterdam. It is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on coding and technical leadership, and who can balance delivery with coaching and architectural thinking.

## Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and review the work of other engineers
- Translate product and business needs into technical plans
- Improve architecture, performance, reliability, and code quality
- Mentor engineers and raise team standards through coaching and feedback
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver work on time and with measurable impact
## Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer, ideally in a lead or senior capacity
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and modern engineering practices
- Hands-on experience with at least one major programming language and relevant frameworks
- Experience with code review, architecture decisions, and technical mentoring
- Strong communication skills in English
- HBO or WO level of education, or equivalent professional experience
## Nice to have
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and scalable system design
- Experience in agile delivery environments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
